Property transactions cannot be completed unless the identity of all parties has been fully verified by us. This is a protection to make sure whoever is dealing with a property is entitled to do so and a requirement of electronic conveyancing.

The Verification of Identity (VOI) process is similar to the 100-point check for a bank account in that you must provide a number of documents to prove you are who you say you are.

If your lawyer has given you a link to this page it is because you need to complete a VOI as part of your conveyancing.

When you are ready to complete your VOI, book a time to visit our office and complete your VOI. It usually takes less than 20 minutes for a couple.

The VOI Document Checker below will allow you to check you have sufficient documentation for a verification. If there is more than one person involved in the property transaction, each must complete an individual VOI.
